If you want to earn some money from your website as a webmaster, AdSense earnings are a good way to start with you.
For many webmasters, it's very hard to earn a good day a day. But there are also some smarter people who earn hundreds of euros per day through Adsense (Aff) from the ads on their websites. What these webmasters do differently than the rest is that they can think of off the beaten path.
Those who do that and have done quite some tips to help others who want to achieve those results too. Some of these tips have given my Adsense (aff)revenue a good push in the right direction in the past and still do it now.

5 Simple Ways To Increase Your AdSense Earnings

1. Concentrate on a format of the AdSense Ads.
The format that works best for most people is the Great Law Book (336X280). The same format is also responsible for higher CTR or clicks through values. Why would you choose this size while there are so much more to choose from? Actually, because these ads look like normal web links, and people who are already used to clicking on such links click on this form of links. They know or do not know that they click on your AdSense ads but as long as they click on, it's in your favor.
2. Create your own color palette for your ads.
Choose a color that fits the background of your website. If your site has a white background, try white as a color and background color. The idea of using the same colors is to make the AdSense Ads appear as part of the content of your site as much as possible. And again that will result in more clicks from the people who visit your site. Most Effective Advertising Styles )
3. Remove the AdSense blocks from the end of your pages and put them right at the beginning.
Do not try to hide your ads. Put them in a place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed at the difference that these AdSense locations can do for you if you see AdSense revenue. Note that you do not overdo it. Google has also checked with the latest Panda update whether there are too many ads above the fold and there are enough that have lost their ranking.
4. Place and maintain links on relevant websites.
If you think some sites are better than others then place the Adsense ads there and try to maintain and manage them. If there are already a lot of AdSense ads on a particular site then your ads above all others so that the visitors to the site who see you first. Of course, you can not place your own Adsense ads on all websites, so check out the terms of the website.
5. Please try to automate the placement of ads on your website.
Particularly with a Content Management System like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, others, that's very easy because there are plugins or modules for each of those systems that can do that for you.
For WordPress, for example, the Quick Adsense Plugin is highly recommended. It works simple and fast and has an extensive choice of ability to rotate the ads across the pages. Rotating the ads prevents a certain amount of ad blindness and can also help to increase your Adsense earnings.

Additional Information to Improve Your Adsense Revenue

Above you have received some of the tips that work fine for other AdSense webmasters who earn hundreds and sometimes even thousands of euros a month with their websites.
It is also important to know that the ads shown must be close to the interests of the people they see. So focus on a particular topic of your site and the ads will be relevant because people have already searched for that topic before they came to your site. Well-targeted visitors make a big difference to your Adsense earnings.
Keep in mind that many people will read the same tips, here and on other sites. It is, therefore, best to place good ads that are just as different from the others. Every clickthrough that makes your visitors is a point for you so let every click count by making sure your visitors click on it.
These Tips are given by people who have improved their AdSense earnings, and these are guidelines they want to share with others. If they have worked for others in one way or another, maybe they will work for you. Try them out with your ads and see what the result is.
If others have already done it, then it's certainly not wrong to try them for themselves. Keep track of what you do/change, when and why and give the time to see the results (Certainly a week!) And you may find those ads that also improve your AdSense earnings.
Record and wait for improvement of your Adsense earnings as a result

A fast website is great for visitors and is good for SEO (search engine optimization). You can start reducing and compressing images if you have not already done so. But there's more. In this article, I describe how to easily improve Leverage Browser Caching.
Caching is an important part and that is a somewhat technical story. Therefore, there are many caching plugins. However, if you want to install as few plugins as possible (making your website even faster and safer) then you can get started yourself.

Test load time

A first step is testing your current loading time. This can be done with the well-known Pingdom tool. Test it several times to calculate an average. In addition to load time, you can also find the Google Pagespeed performance grade and you can see which component is eligible for improvement. With me, that was Leverage Browser Caching (before the image below was created).

In the past, the .htaccess file could easily be modified with the SEO at Yoast plugin. However, this functionality has been eliminated. Therefore, use an FTP program such as Filezilla to access your files.

  2. Copy the .htaccess file and save it as a backup
  3. Open the .htaccesss 'Notepad' file and add the code below.
  4. Save and upload the file to the root

Are you looking for ways to improve the SEO of your website and the encryption of data sent through the server that makes your website safer? Then the integration of an SSL certificate may be a success. What is an SSL certificate and what are the benefits? We put it in front of you.

What is an SSL certificate?

SSL stands for "Secure Sockets Layer," a protocol that sends data encrypted through the global web. Linking an SSL certificate to a website means that the data exchanged through the website is safer. In addition, instead of HTTP,   https for the domain name in your browser will appear along with the icon of a lock. Perhaps you are familiar with this; You'll see when using internet banking and when you pay online or shop online.

What does an SSL certificate do?

When an SSL certificate is installed on the server, a secure connection between server and browser is activated. SSL certificates encrypt information sent between server and browser. SSL certificates are issued by certificate authorities and can be used for various applications, such as:
  • Confirm the identity of an external computer
  • Confirming your identity to an external computer
  • Confirm that certain software is from a software publisher
  • Secure email messages
  • Safer communication over the Internet

Well or no SSL certificate?

Choosing whether you use an SSL certificate for a website or blog is for yourself. Although it is strongly advisable to use an SSL certificate when sensitive information is exchanged through your website. For a webshop it's actually an absolute must have. At the same time, you'll see that the SSL certificate is becoming more and more a new web standard. For example, wordpress.com has recently been integrated into their blog service and has already announced that Google may have a positive impact on SEO.

How do you integrate an SSL certificate?

Integrating an SSL certificate can be done in several ways. The easiest way to host your website with a hosting company that provides free SSL certificates with their hosting, such as VioxxHowever, you can also purchase a certificate with a certificate of authority and manually place it on your server and link to your website. A third method is to do it through a 3rd party service like CloudFlare.

Growth Hacking is often associated with (tech) bootups. The Growth Hacking Mindset is often more present at startups than in large, established companies. However, that does not mean that Growth Hacking is only for startups. In fact, big companies would benefit greatly from working step by step on their Growth Hacker's mindset.

Urge for control

In many established companies, urge for control. And that is not that strange as many organizations are built on an organizational structure based on control and hierarchy. In the average business, the Growth Hacking mindset is simply not yet in place. It has only been since 2010 that the term Growth hacking exists and there have only been training and training on this subject for a number of years. When we went to school and went to business studies, this urge for control was still contained in everything we learned about organs and management.

The world has changed

But guess what. What we learned earlier has been just more current on many fronts. Changes in the world follow each other quickly, with the Internet, social media and a shitload of useful tools as a catalyst. The checking and optimization of work processes is no longer the formula for sustainable growth. Nowadays, you're working to quickly investigate a profitable business case, test things, learn and optimize. A product or service does not need to be completely perfect or undeveloped immediately. In this way, you will keep your projects clear and you will learn what works well and what does not work without burning high budgets.

Old school mindset vs. Growth Hacking mindset

However, it is not easy for many organizations to embrace a Growth Hacking mindset. It's not a truck or just a tool. It is about changing an organizational culture. And we all know that changing an organizational culture is not easy and can cost a lot of time. That's because some of the Growth Hackers' mindset seems to be in line with the old school:
  • Flat or Holistic (eg Holocracy) organizational structure vs. a hierarchical organizational structure
  • Agile / Scrum approach vs. a waterfall approach
  • Prototyping and fast releases vs. Control and perfectionism
  • Continuing Learning vs. Institutionalized learning
  • Change vs. Allergy against change
Of course, the summary above is quite short and we can not shave all the organizations. However, the different sides of the spectrum illustrate some current themes that have now penetrated strategically at many organizations.

The Growth Hacking Mindset surrounds

How do you embrace a Growth Hacking Mindset? The short answer: in small steps. Working towards a Growth Hacking Mindset, you can do best practice in established organizations through a step-by-step approach that proves itself throughout the process. For example, a step-by-step approach can look like this:
Preparation:
  • Examine the current situation
  • Begin with high-level goals
  • Formulate a business case
  • Investigate the potential of the online channel for the specific case
  • Focus on 1 (existing) product or service
  • Formulate a plan of action
  • Determine and introduce the most important web metrics
Pilot phase
  • Begin collecting test data
  • Optimize the existing platform (low-hanging fruit)
  • Apply to the first conversions
  • Create periodic reports
  • Create a rhythm for tuning and knowledge transfer
Evaluate the pilot
  • Exchange lessons learned
  • Hyperfocus landing pages
  • Optimize the 3 S and (SEO, SEA, & Social)
Get through
  • Scale campaigns based on conversion data
  • Focus on campaigns with the highest ROI
  • Proceed through the entire sales funnel and formulate continuous optimizations
For some organizations, it will be too early and the embrace of the Growth hacking Mindset will be a bridge too far. In most cases, however, a seed will be planned that eventually grows into more awareness of the usefulness and necessity of the mindset. By starting with a clear focus and not getting things right away, it becomes clearer how the approach and the process have added value in combination with the mindset. That time, people often need to let go of old habits and get used to a new way of working. And that is also not bad, but human.

It may be that you have a website that tests everything, or you are setting up a website and are completely in the knot.
In these situations, you often come to a point where you want to remove and reinstall WordPress, but did you know that it is also possible to reset only the WordPress database?
Resetting a website costs less time and the effect is the same. You have a clean WordPress installation and can take a fresh start. In this article, you can read how to reset a WordPress website with the click of a button.

WordPress Database Reset plugin

With the WordPress Database Reset plugin, we are able to reset a WordPress website.
The only thing that this plugin does is give you the opportunity to completely erase all information and adjustments contained in the database. Since all of WordPress is stored in the database (except for files and images), make sure you have a whole new installation.
Once you have installed and activated the plugin you can go to "Extra -> Database Reset". You will see the following:
Here you can simply select "Select all" to delete all tables from the database or indicate in the drop-down menu which tables you would like to delete.
When you clear all the tables, your installation will be brand new. However, if you just want to reset some things like all settings, comments, or posts and posts, you can also choose one individually.
Tip: Whatever you do, the only thing left in the database next to the default settings is your own user account. However, I once heard that someone was wrong while resetting and that the user also disappeared. To make sure that your user is 100% sure, you can skip the "Users" table and not reset.

Resetting WordPress database

Once you have chosen which tables to reset you do not have to do much more. Only when you want to delete the "Options" table will you get an additional option, that you should choose whether to reactivate the current theme and plugins after resetting your WordPress website.
Once you have made your choice or when you have selected other tables to reset, you can proceed to the final step.
You only have to fill in the security code and then click on the "Reset Tables" button.
When you click on it, you will be asked once to make sure you want to continue. Click on "Ok" if you are sure and your database tables are reset.
You did it. All settings and adjustments you made to your website have been deleted. You can now start a fresh start with your new WordPress installation.
