Now it's time to start writing to work! I can do not give instructions for everyone after all blogs on his or her own way. What I can do is give you some tips in writing blogs!
Creating content
You've already chosen your topic, and you can start writing. But what? There are a lot of ways you can go give substance to your blog. One writes a blog about what he ate, but the other will make a complete manual with recipe and information on the ingredients. There is no one perfect way to write blogs, keep mostly stick to your plan and what you would like.
You could make a mind map or someone (or yourself) to hold a brainstorming session. On the hand, you can quickly tap a lot of blogs. To give up a push for you might be something with the following forms within your subject:
  • A manual
  • List of tips
  • Your opinion on a particular topic
  • Give information
  • Talk about a particular event
  • Give advice or discuss a particular problem
  • Write a review about a product (or an event or ...?)
  • Reaction specify a blog or a quote from someone else
  • ... your favorite books, events, products within your topic
  • Let you know which blogs you read about the topic you blog
  • Answer to a frequently asked question
  • Also nice: write about that of which you would like to read
  • What has brought me a lot; a little daring in throwing. I blogged example my greatest fear. I thought it was scary, but I'm still very glad I did.

What you can not do better:

  • Steal content from other blogs (anyway not done at all) (and if you are inspired by another blogger: link they often find a lot of fun right)
  • Write about things that are already written 1,000 times, a bit original can not hurt. (Not always apply, especially if you have your own perspective and their own opinion or something else "own" it gives remains fascinating)
  • Always rely on 'tags' when you feel uninspired
  • Lose yourself in blogging. Sometimes, especially in the beauty and lifestyle fashion scene to PR agencies and companies get carried away. Keep yourself and your blog, you write for your readers and yourself, not for the PR and media agencies. Think about that as you write!

Make sure your blog entries are readable

Seems very obvious and as such, if a little Dutch may be you're reading texts. But on the Internet, the reader has much less attention and therefore you can consider. My tips to ensure that your texts are easy to read:
  • Do not use long sentences. On paper, it reads very different than on the Web, as I said, readers have less attention. As readers read differently on the web than on paper, it is an advantage to make something shorter sentences than you would on paper.
  • Spelling. Poor spelling is really a letdown. Of course, it does not always have to be 100% perfect, but it's good for your lyrics always check. Doubt you something? Hester gave some good tips here for improving spelling on your blog. Good to read, thus you come a long way.
  • It has been proven that a font that is used widely read most easily. In the end not even the shape of the font (yes, a bit of course), but above all the recognition. so do not use silly words for your content, but use it only for titles.
  • To proceed then: Justify or left alignment is recommended because it also reads most enjoyable.
  • The standard rules of writing an introduction, middle and finally you undoubtedly know. Not every blog needs this but uses anyway paragraphs. A large piece of text that is difficult to get through, especially with the attention of an internet user.
  • Overall not too long blog entries. Some bloggers like mega long articles that I absolutely not disapprove. When I 2000 words in a blog writing are for me a sign that I can share the better in two separate blogs or create a complete series of (what if I'm still not finished after 2000 words ...). But that number will be different for everyone.
These things may not seem the most important, but if you write something nice when it is read, right? If that does not so important, you can these "rules" of course just relax on your boot. That is perhaps the most important: good to do what you like, it's your spot on the web!
Frequency of your blogs
How often do you want to put a blog online? Every day, once a week or even once a month? It is good to remember this in advance. This has certain reasons: your readers know what to expect: for example, every Monday a new article. But pin yourself that way to determine.
A great danger of blogging is that you are too perfectionist. Not everyone has that problem, but there are many bloggers who believe that you should only blog when you "have something to say." And then they wait until they have our roads because they have nothing sensible report. Great news: everyone has something to say. Sometimes you look just alone here.
Elijah recently wrote an article (which she shared a tweet from me, yay!). When you look around to see if you see things that you can blog for example mandatory yourself blogging every day then you're constantly (unconsciously). That way you care without saying that you have something to say. I blog every day because I have such a fascinating life or because I have so much to say, I blog every day because I can make sure I have something to write every day. And I think you can too!
Tapping, reviewing, publishing. It is not difficult, you just do it.
I also feel that I can not really give tips. there is not a certain way it is right (or wrong) writing is very personal for everyone. The most important? Especially a lot of practice, have fun and take care of the finishing touches. Do you have any questions? Let me know! And the bloggers among us: Do you have any tips for writing content?
