Especially on the forum, there is a lot of talk about the technical side of search engine optimization (SEO). In my opinion, actually something too much.
Why? I will explain that later on this page.
First, I want to talk to you about what technical SEO is actually, and what you need - in terms of technology - to take into account to score high in Google.
WHAT IS TECHNICAL SEO?
Technical SEO is nothing more than the "technical side" of your website.
Think of the permalink structure, sitemaps, the load time of your website, and basically all that matters.
Everything but the content itself.
Is it important that the technical SEO of your website be right? Absolutely.
Is technical SEO difficult? No.
Because we can use systems like WordPress, technical SEO has already been done for you, and you do not have to spend much time and energy.
I'll tell you what I do in technical SEO for my site (s).
USE An SEO-FRIENDLY SYSTEM

I recommend using WordPress. WordPress is a free website system that allows you to create and maintain super simple and fast websites.
The most beautiful of WordPress is that the code is optimized for SEO and that WordPress sites are well appreciated by Google because the code is so good and clean.
If you have a WordPress site, basically, the technical side of SEO is good.
CHANGE THE PERMALINK STRUCTURE OF YOUR WEBSITE
Another important "technical SEO" point is the permalink structure of your website.
This is an example of a bad permalink structure:
https://www.wikibeginner.in/page = id32421
For example, a good (SEO friendly) permalink structure would be:
https://www.wikibeginner.in/ technical-SEO
For example, Google (and the visitor) can read where the page is about and the permalink structure is not numeric, but relevant.
Via WordPress, you can easily change your permalink structure.
ACTIVATE A SITEMAP
Do not forget to activate a Sitemap and send it to Google.
A sitemap ensures that your website can easily be read by Google. In a sitemap, there is no unnecessary information and only a kind of 'tree structure' of your pages and articles.
Creating a Sitemap can also be easily downloaded and activated by the Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress. They will then send you to Google Webmaster Tools (here you must log in to your website!) And you're done!
KEEP YOUR WEBSITE FAST
One of the most important aspects of your website is its speed.
A slow website will lower your position in Google, and the visitors you get will soon leave your website.
Make your website fast, among other things, by:
- To take a quick hosting (do not save)
- To choose a clean WordPress theme (not too fussy)
- Optimize your images on your website
- Optimize your website speed (let)
The latter is, of course, obvious, but not again. Not every website is "optimized" for speed; often nothing has been done.
My advice is, therefore, to hire someone to take care of your website, and to optimize your website. Via sites like SiteDeals.nl and Freelancer.com you will find enough people who can and want to do this for you.
Again, do not save on speed because this is mega important to score well in Google.
USE AN SSL CERTIFICATE
Actually one of the simplest things to improve the SEO of your website is to purchase an SSL certificate.
An SSL certificate provides an https connection, and thus also the "green lock" that you often see in the address bar at websites.
Google attaches more importance to websites that have an https connection, and visitors will also feel more familiar.
An SSL certificate costs about ten or twenty euros a year, but you have increased SEO points again ;-).
DO NOT DO STRANGE THINGS
One of the most important tips I can give you is that you should not do strange things.
Do not go into the code yourself if you do not understand it. Do not add strange things to your website, making your website super slow.
Always keep in mind that your website should be user-friendly and fast.
FOCUS ON QUALITATIVE CONTENT
Is Technical SEO Important? Hell yes. Is it all determinative? Nope.
In addition to the above, I've never been up to technical SEO, and see how good Internet Success Gids.nl runs in Google.
If you have a good, clear, fast website, you're already at a good end.
Spend most of your time creating good, comprehensive, and especially SEO-optimized content, then you can not stop.
By regularly adding sample items that are relevant to your target audience and giving Mega a lot of value, you will always get higher in Google, and Google will gain more appreciation for your website.
Provide a good SEO base by applying the tips I've given above, and expand it consistently with qualitative content.
