In WordPress, widgets are no longer possible. There are only enough widgets that you never use.
WordPress already has more than 15 widgets, and plugins often also provide extra widgets.
How nice would it be that on the widgets page you can deactivate any widgets that you never use again, making them no longer visible?
In this article, you can read how to accomplish this on your WordPress website.

Why deactivate widgets from the overview?

If you want to add additional widgets to your website's sidebar or other widget areas, you can do this via View -> Widgets. All available widgets are available on this page and you will not use them all.
Because all widgets appear on this page, it may be very good to find the right widget you want at a given moment. The overview will be lost automatically if there are too many widgets.
To make it easy for you, you can choose to deactivate all widgets that you never use to use on your website.

How can you get widgets from the overview?

To deactivate widgets, and by doing so, you can not see any more, you can install an additional plugin. The plugin you can use for this is WP Widget Disable .
Once you have installed and activated the plugin, you can go to "View -> Disable Widgets" to set which widgets may be visible and not visible.
It's a matter of all widgets that you no longer want to see on this page and then click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.
When you view "View -> Widget" again, you will see that all widgets you have selected are no longer visible in the list of available widgets.
It's a simple trick to get the WordPress Admin section just a little more to your liking.
