Here we give some tips for Google Assistant, so your device must be in English and you have to speak English.
Change your name
If you want to be contacted by Google Assistant in a certain way, you can indicate this in the settings under Personal info> Nickname for your account. However, you can also simply say to Google Assistant "call me" followed by your name.
At Personal info, you can also immediately indicate where you live and where you work. This is useful for a number of other features of Google Assistant, including the daily overview.

Day overview

If you want to get an overview of the day, you can say good morning to Google Assistant. You will then hear the weather forecast, the news, what appointments you have that day, information about traffic on the route to work, and so on. You can choose what information you want to get by turning options on and off under My Day in the Google Assistant settings.

Give commands

Google Assistant is extremely suitable to serve various Android functions. So you can open apps (say "open" followed by the name of the app), call people (say "call" followed by the name in the address book) or texting (say "text" followed by the name), you alarm (say "set an alarm for" followed by the time) and start navigation (say "navigate to" followed by the desired location).
With Google Assistant it is also possible to start music tracks and albums, or films and series via the desired service. For example, you can say "play House Of Cards on Netflix" or "play jazz in Spotify". The right media is then searched for and loaded via the right service.

Heads or tails

If you want to determine who can start with a game, you can, of course, throw a real coin, but many people now have no change in the pocket anymore. Google Assistant can offer a solution here by throwing a virtual coin and giving the result. Say "toss a coin" and Google Assistant will say whether it is head or coin.

To have conversations

Google Assistant can remember and understand referrals very well. So if you have asked a question about a certain thing, you can simply ask questions. Think of questions like "how old is the king of the Netherlands" followed by the question "show me pictures" to see pictures of King Willem-Alexander.
